Ramases is a blue shaded Oriental (43a) he was born in September 2003, his mother is a blue Oriental; Lamarisa Bluesaffire and his father a seal tabby point Siamese GR CH Tenaj Star Ryder.
Ramases is a truly special cat. At the age of 12 weeks a terrible tragedy happened to Ramases and his litter mates. A vet prescribed an anti-inflammatory instead of an anti-biotic by mistake. Ramases and his siblings all developed renal problems (drug poisoning) unfortunately despite the litter being rushed to the University of Liverpool they died, the only survivor was Ramases. I think he was determined to be true to his name, the great Pharaoh Ramases and he was going to be long lived.
Ramases came to live with me when he was well enough to leave the care of his breeder Irene Clarke at 20 weeks old. I am sure it was such a heart wrenching decision to let him go as he was so special.
Ramases is a very much loved member of my family and particularly dotes on my husband and of course, Ramases sleeps under the duvet with us.
In March 2005 I entered him for his first GCCF cat show. We had a wonderful time, he has such a wonderful temperament he thoroughly enjoyed all the attention and kissed as many judges as he could.
Ramases is a very large neuter and I only show him when he is able to be accomodated in a double pen, this only allows him to be shown 4-6 times a year, he is a fantastic showman and loves the attention from the judges and public.
Ramases has attained the title of Imperial Grand Premier in 5 straight shows - a very impressive achievement
