Heti was to be my first breeding Queen.
From the first day Heti arrived, she took over everyone's hearts; Ramasses followed her everywhere, our dog Roydon was under her command and she was so very well loved by myself, my husband Tim and my children Leyla and Callum, Marat even came to love this most precious of cats.
Heti enjoyed moderate success on the show bench but became ill when she was around 9 months old.
I fought so hard to keep Heti with us and am forever grateful to the Liverpool University Animal Hospital who tried valiantly to save her and to my beautiful boy Ramasses and brave girl Marat who both gave blood to keep her alive, it was a devestating blow to be told Heti had an incurrable disease called Amyloidosis.
In March 2007 we all lost the fight and Heti slipped away lying in my arms, Good night brave girl.
"My heart is so heavy and you feel it will never mend, she nows lies in peace in my garden, in a sunny spot, where I can see her from my window, sleep tight my darling Heti . "
